A quiet note from me

If you’re reading this, it means you chose to take one more step and I want to honor that.

My name is Troy.
I’m on dialysis too.

I didn’t create this page as a program, a pitch, or a solution.
I created it because dialysis can slowly shrink your world if you let it and I know how lonely that can feel.

There were days when I sat in the chair feeling physically present, but emotionally absent.
Days when I didn’t want advice, motivation, or another “stay strong.”

I just wanted to be understood without having to explain myself.

If any of that resonates with you, please know this:
nothing is wrong with you for feeling tired, disconnected, or unsure of what you need next.

I want to be very clear about something.

This page does not sign you up for anything.
I won’t automatically contact you.
I won’t add you to a list or send messages you didn’t ask for.

Your space and privacy matter.

At some point now, later, or never - you might want to be around others who understand this road a little more closely.

I do host a small, private Facebook group made up of people living with dialysis and chronic kidney challenges.
There’s no pressure to post, comment, or participate.
Many people simply join and read quietly.

If that feels supportive, you’re welcome to take a look.

Only if and when you want.

If you ever reach a point where you want personal, one-on-one support,
and you’d rather talk privately instead of in a group,
you can request a conversation with me here.

There’s no obligation, and nothing is expected.

This isn’t medical advice, and it’s not something you need to decide now.
It’s simply an option that exists if and when you’re ready.

Take care of yourself.
That’s enough for today.
